PRINTFEST

Printfest was founded in 2001 and is the UK’s foremost artist-led printmaking festival. The Printfest weekend is held each early May bank holiday at the Coronation Hall in the festival town of Ulverston, Cumbria. Since my first visit in 2010 as their Printmaker of the Year, I have attended a further 5 times.

HOTBED PRESS

I was thrilled to win an award for 'Best in Show' for my entry to the 20:20 Print Exchange with Hotbed Press, a small etching entitled Winter Light IV. The exchange participation was run by Northern Print, and Charlie Thwaites, another member of Northern Print, won the other '
Best in Show' award.
VISITORS CHOICE AWARD
My stand at Printfest 2019 won the Visitors Choice Award, sponsored by James Cropper PLC. The Award was presented by David Nicholson from James Cropper. Printfest is the UK's foremost artist-led printmaking festival held annually in Ulverston, every early May bank holiday.

My etching 'Window Light XV' won the Hawthorn Award at Printfest 2019, a selected print award from Hawthorn Printmakers. They are one of several sponsors of Printfest, the UK's foremost artist-led printmaking festival held annually in Ulverston, every early May bank holiday.

My etching 'Window Light XIV' won the Haigh Award at Printfest 2017, a selected print award from Haigh Architects, one of several sponsors of Printfest, the UK's foremost artist-led printmaking festival held annually in Ulverston, every early May bank holiday.
